Tammy Striler

Tammy is a mom of four amazing children and is District Math TOSA for Valley Center - Pauma Unified School District. Tammy started teaching in 1991, and taught 1st and 4th grades throughout her career before becoming a coach in 2015 and then the district Math TOSA in 2023. Tammy likes to share ideas, support teachers, and create resources to move the profession and practices forward. Tammy's podcast (Pour Your Ed Out) engages teachers in dialogue about what has inspired them as educators along with stories and tips of the trade while keeping it real over a glass of wine in her wine cellar. She also partners with teachers across the state with creating resources to inspire teachers, students and parents to find the joy and excitement in teaching and learning.

Kathy Kuno

Kathy is a mom of two amazing boys, and is an Elementary Math TOSA for Irvine Unified School District. Prior to joining the IUSD family in 1998, she began her teaching career in another district for three years. Kathy has taught first, second and fourth grade before moving into her dream role of Math TOSA for IUSD. Being a triathlete, Kathy uses the lessons learned in the sport of triathlon to help bring her passion for teaching students and teachers that math is fun and anyone can learn math. The belief a coach has in their athletes is powerful, so powerful that it can transform an athlete's way of thinking about their own abilities and help them grow, believe in themself, and develop in ways they never expected. Teachers have that same power!
